StartUp Weekend Awesomeness

Eric Jorgenson, the organizational force behind Lansing StartUp Weekend, had a "freaking awesome" time at the event. Said Jorgenson, "The most gratifying part for me was [to see] people who came from all over... a number of people mentioned that they wished they had events, people and a culture like this in their own city. It's great to become a beacon of Startup Awesomeness!"
The winning innovation was Soapbox, a real-time barometer and crowd-sourced question platform for classrooms. The award for 'Coolest' application went to CampusRoutes, a map and pathfinder for campuses to reduce walking times to class and make it easier to find relevant events and specials. Digital Active was a proud sponsor of the event, which helped great ideas to come to life.
