It's a Launch: TheDurant.com

The project to renovate the Durant Hotel in Flint, Michigan into a mixed-use building with commercial space and over 90 apartments is near completion. Digital Active Online has launched their new website, thedurant.com. The website features the historic background of the building, information on the new building, and a lease application. The website is integrated with the ActiveProperty Management system created by Digital Active Online. Tenants are able to login to enter and track maintenance issues, as well as view news and announcements regarding the building and the downtown community. The renovation of the building, formerly known as the Durant Hotel, began in 2008. With the historic preservation of the building being a key concern, the project was completed in partnership with the Genesee County Land Bank, C.S. Mott Foundation, Ford Foundation, Community Foundation of Greater Flint, MEDC and MSHDA.

"It is wonderful to see the Durant become a landmark of downtown Flint once again. The website will be a great tool for connecting with the community and, with the tenant management tools, a great way for tenants to communicate with management", Amy Hovey, Senior Vice President - Capacity Building, Center for Community Progress. The building has already leased a number of apartments and attracted interest from various events looking to rent the renovated ballroom.
