Once again we were very exited to be sponsors of Ignite Lansing! We were not disappointed - the speakers were great , very cool setting at the Capital City Airport, and weather was cold (but so was the beer).

Search engine behemoth Google announced it has updated its method of ranking sites based on content.The move is designed to allow users to get access to better, more relevant content faster, rather than being bombarded by useless pages designed to con people into clicking on ads.

The Global Observatory for Ecosystems is Launched!

The website for the Global Observatory for Ecosystems (GOES) is launched. The group focuses on measuring ecosystems using satellite imagery, ground measurements and computer models. Currently the GOES partners include: the World Wildlife Fund, University of Maryland, the United Nations Environment Programme, the Chicago Climate Exchange, the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies, the World Agroforestry Center, Kenyan Forestry Research Institute and the International Center for Forest Research.
